This is the new version of my mini Solid State Tesla Coil. Flashovers of over 22cm are achieved with the new Top load. Max output voltage is about 170kV. The audio modulator is also improved. Power consumption is about 300W.
I have started spinning my own toroid's, it's a lot of work but it's definitely worth it. If you are interested in ordering one of these toroid's you can use the webshop.
The outer dimensions are 180x 50 mm, the maximum coil diameter is 80mm. Capacitance: ~7,9pF
A new composition of the primary coil for a Double Resonance Solid State TeslaCoil (DRSSTC). It is a combination of wire and capacitors. By making the coil like this you get rid of all the parasitic inductions of the capacitor bank, it reduces wire length and saves a lot of space. Calculating the resonance frequency also becomes much easier.
I hereby dub this coil configuration: The Eindhoven Primary.
Dit is de grote TeslaCoil afkomstig van de voormalig THRijswijk, ik heb deze bij de verhuizing meegekregen. Deze Teslaspoel is niet door mij ontworpen maar door Aartjan de Wit, wel heb ik alles uit elkaar moeten halen en reviseren om hem weer werkend te krijgen. De maximum overslagafstand ligt nu op ongeveer 153 cm (meer dan 750kV).
A small TeslaCoil fully made of acrylic plastic. The cool thing about this is that every part is transparent. This coil is driven by the power supply of my large DC Teslacoil. Total height 44cm, max output voltage +- 380.000 Volts (57cm arc length).

koper lakdraad voor (primaire circuit). dit geeft een aardige
verbetering en lijd tot spanningen van ongeveer 750.000 Volt.
